NITRIDING STEEL EN40B
NITRIDING STEEL EN40B
We are one of the main suppliers of EN40B nitriding steel, delivering it to the different parts of the country.
EN40B is a chromium molybdenum steel generally supplied in the solidified and tempered "T" condition, which offers high wear imperviousness together with great toughness and ductility.
EN40B in T condition has a tensile of 850-1000 N/mm². It is described by its reasonableness for nitriding, which can give a hard wear resistant case in the scope of 61-65Rc. The generally low temperature of the nitriding process produces EN40B segments with a scale free surface, with minimum distortion during the warmth treatment process.
EN40B might be utilized as a part of its supply condition (normally 'T') for applications and segments which require a high tensile steel quality and high creep quality at temperatures up to 600°C.
